Glenriding Hotels

Glenridding is a small village south of Ullswater with a variety of beautiful walks and stunning views nearby. Aira Force, perhaps the most famous of the Lake District waterfalls, is just off the main road three miles north of Glenridding. The main force falls 80 feet from below a stone footbridge in a landscaped Victorian park with waterfalls, an arboretum and dramatic rock and woodland scenery. This National Trust site has a large car park and mostly easy gradients with well-maintained paths but is, in places, steep with hand-rails.
